Graphic Design Specialist Opening

Position: Graphic Design Specialist Location: Wadesboro, NC Position Summary: Loba-Wakol is seeking a Graphic Design Specialist with experience creating graphic and multimedia content for branding, web, and communication projects. This role requires the person to be able to work independently while collaborating with our marketing and sales team. Primary Responsibilities Must demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat. This is a non-negotiable requirement. Knowledge of Adobe Premier, Aftereffects, and web development. Create and edit visual materials while following graphic design principles using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator daily. Edit briefing slides in PowerPoint. Create content that includes routine-to-complex graphics, publication design and layout, infographics, forms, briefs, illustrations, posters, logos, photography, and websites. Examine how designs are viewed by their customers to ensure messages are communicated clearly and accurately. Create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers, designers, editors, supervisors, etc. Communicate with customers and sales representatives to establish the objective, design, and requirements of the project. Maintains contact with the customer about project progress and deadlines. Ability to work on several projects concurrently while managing competing deadlines. Openness to continuous learning and knowledge sharing with peers. Ability to work independently, as well as in a project team environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree or vocational degree in graphic design with 2-3 years of experience is preferred. Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and collaborate. Must be able to take design projects from concept to completion. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must exhibit professionalism when interacting with internal and external customers. Must organize personal workflows so projects are easily shared between teammates. Must exhibit professionalism as it relates to budget management and meeting meeting deadlines. Must adapt, with minimal advance notice, to changes in how business is conducted, and work is accomplished. Must be able to handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information with carefully and with sensitivity. Must possess excellent organizational skills.
