Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse in a hospital setting. This role involves providing urgent and trauma care to a diverse patient population across all age ranges, in a fast-paced environment. The position requires flexibility with floating and adherence to clinical standards to ensure quality patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications: RN license valid in MD or a Compact state, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI
• Education Requirements: Active MD state or Compact license, CPI, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of ER experience, with a minimum of 1 year considered for some candidates
• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts (19:00-07:30) with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 4 patients per nurse during shifts
• Patient Population: All age ranges including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics with complex diagnoses
• Clinical Skills: Managing respiratory infections, trauma, airway management, IV sedation, acute psychosis, cardiac monitoring, and more
• Additional Information: Floating within scope required, orientation involves 36 hours, holiday and weekend shifts mandated. Submission requires compliance documentation within 5 days of start date. Candidates must accept assignments without an interview and be comfortable floating as needed.
