This position sits with our Swedish Match affiliate. **Your ‘day to day’** **Warehousing** * Maintain inventory records and daily reconciliation of inventory at outside warehouses. Responsible for control of $120,000,000 of product going through these warehouses per year. * Responsible for completing monthly inventory reconciliations (book to actual Physical inventory) as prescribed by our internal controls. Determine reason for differences, research, and recommend/implement changes as required. **Order Entry** * Responsible for editing routings, correcting routing errors and creating picking documents for all warehouses. * Contact warehouses daily and ship confirm orders in system creating billing to our customers. **Accounts Payable** * Responsible for reviewing, authorizing, and coding for payment all warehouse replenishment freight charges, unloading and handling charges, and payment of warehouse labor bills. * Authorize return requests from our customers. Determine where and how they should be returned. Issue credits to the customer. File claim with freight carrier for shortages and non-recoups. * Review freight bills, check rates and discounts, and pay freight bills from our carriers for shipments to our customers. **Customer Service/Misc.** * Discuss distribution functions (warehousing, tracing shipment, expediting, etc.) with our customers an average of 60/80 calls per day. Provide assistance and information. **Who we’re looking for:** **Education:** Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred. **Experience:** Background in Distribution, Warehousing, or Transportation required; knowledge of Import/Export processes preferred. **Skills & Knowledge:** * Strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities. * Familiarity with U.S. Customs regulations and Hazardous Materials handling. * Proficient in PC applications and systems.
