As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, entry points, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site policies, and maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities. Communicate professionally with residents and site staff, report maintenance, lighting, access control, or other security-related concerns, and support a welcoming residential environment. Minimum Requirements: Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
