- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results and ensure consistency.
- Inspect and assess surfaces to determine the best painting techniques and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Repair and touch up surfaces as required to maintain high-quality finishes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance skills and efficiency.
- Proven experience as a painter in residential or commercial settings.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in painting is a plus.
