Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Perform a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to supply high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Accurately document examinations and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
