Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 18 months of ICU experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the 4W ICU unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 4x12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week
• 30-minute meal break included in shift
• No on-call requirements
• Required to float to other departments and facilities, including Perry Hospital, based on department rotation

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 18 months of ICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience with ventilators and IV insertion required
• Experience with PICC lines required
• Meditech charting experience required
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start

Additional Information

• Interview process includes an interview with the Nurse Manager
• Provide critical care nursing services within the ICU setting
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
