Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Primary Care Physician for a healthcare organization in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. This is a permanent employed position with low patient volume and excellent benefits package.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join their established healthcare practice. This position offers a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality primary care services to patients of all age groups in an outpatient setting.

Position Details:

• Permanent, full-time position
• Outpatient setting
• Schedule: 36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours per week (schedule TBD by practice, includes some on-call and rotating Saturday shifts)
• Patient volume: Approximately 20-25 patients per day

Duties Include:

• Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
• Management of acute illnesses and injuries
• Prescribing and administering medications, performing routine vaccinations, and providing health and hygiene guidance
• Ordering necessary tests, follow-up visits, and referring patients to specialists as needed
• Ensuring proper and complete medical documentation for E/M coding (≥80% accuracy, goal of 95%) and HCC coding to maintain eligibility for productivity and VBC bonuses
• Providing direction to both clinical and reception support staff
• Performing other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Preventive Medicine
• New Jersey Medical License (Valid or in-process)
• DEA License
