Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for clients. \n
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and narrative therapy. \n
- Collaborate closely with the Clinical Director to develop innovative therapeutic programs that engage and support clients in meaningful ways. \n
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings with psychiatric providers and clinical staff to coordinate comprehensive care efforts. \n
- Document therapy sessions and outcomes in accordance with industry standards using our established electronic health record (EHR) system. \n
- Track and analyze patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes. \n
- Contribute to the credentialing committee, playing an active role in maintaining our high standards of care. \n
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall mission of the organization. \n
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Total Safety Counseling, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Your role will involve supporting individuals with developmental differences, anxiety disorders, depression, and other mental health issues. Your empathetic approach will be essential in building rapport and fostering a safe space for all clients.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from an accredited institution. \n
- Active LPCC licensure in the state of California. \n
- At least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably working with developmental differences in various age groups. \n
- Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment approaches, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral and narrative therapies. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a patient-first ethos and commitment to continuous improvement based on feedback. \n
- A demonstrated willingness to collaborate across disciplines and integrate community resources into patient care. \n

- Experience working within a telehealth setting, addressing the unique challenges and benefits associated with virtual counseling. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and patient care processes. \n
