This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 5x8s, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

On-call requirements: Yes, on call rotation among staff members. Call is M-F (6:00 PM - 5:30 AM) and weekends from 5:30 AM on Saturday until Monday morning at 5:30 AM.

Job Description

Seeking a qualified MRI Technician to provide high-quality imaging services. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and committed to ensuring patient safety and comfort while producing accurate diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing patient concerns.
• Ensure optimal operation of MRI equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients undergoing exams.
• Follow safety procedures to minimize exposure to radiation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technician.
• Certifications: BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required.
• Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
