Firmware Developer

Job Title
Triage, debug and fix priority bug tickets and enhancements, working closely with internal test teams as well as OEM and SOC vendors. Integrate code fixes from OEM/SOC vendors into engineering builds and get them validated. Create GA builds and update release notes for handoff to validation / Client teams. Lead the live debug sessions with field ops / validation teams in order to root cause the critical issues. Represent Charter as platform lead while working with vendors (OEM, Plume, Ookla, Cujo) on bug fixes. Integrate opensync (COSS) with SDK upgrades provided by OEM/SOC vendors and resolve integration/onboarding issues.
Must have specialized skill listed under specializations tab. Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents. Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback. Collaborates with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency. Participates in architecture, design and code reviews. Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation. 10 + years of experience.
