Backend Developer

Joining an international distributed team, the remote Middle Backend Developer will focus on building scalable systems and contributing to a modern platform that supports pharmaceutical companies in accelerating medicine development through computational modeling solutions. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain a web platform for storing, visualizing, and analyzing scientific models in the pharmaceutical domain Participate in architecture discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams within a SAFe Agile environment Implement microservices architecture and ensure secure and scalable collaboration with scientific data and models Required qualifications Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and Kubernetes Experience in building scalable systems and microservices architecture Familiarity with cloud-native development and containerized infrastructure Understanding of event-driven communication and secure authentication mechanisms
