Job Overview As a Civil Engineer at Atwell, you will play a dynamic role in residential, commercial, or industrial land development projects, becoming a subject‑matter expert and contributing across the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Site Plan Excellence: Draft preliminary and final site plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring precision and industry standard adherence. Data Analysis: Review survey data, legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents to assess site conditions. Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare reports such as hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence, cost opinions, schedules, utility computations, stormwater & soils reports, and software‑generated reports (StormCAD, WaterCAD, etc.). Construction Support: Assist with permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, transmittals, and organize construction documents under senior guidance. Software Mastery: Employ AutoCAD Civil 3D and associated engineering software while aligning with established standards. Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with project teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. 4+ years of professional experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD preferred.
