This position assists supervisors and the Branch Manager with key tasks and projects to help the branch operate efficiently and deliver exceptional service.Basic Job Functions:Adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication's safety programs and standards.Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication's vision and values.Set up jobs in NavisionCreate Purchase OrdersStart information gathering process from customersAssist Production Supervisor and/or Sales Service Supervisor with tasks they need help onAssist Branch Manager with projects around the branchWork closely with customers to set up jobs and answer questions and concernsOther tasks as assigned by supervisorSafety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Requirements:Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.Must have a high school diploma, GED or local/state equivalentPreferences:Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookPhysical Demands:Typical office activitiesWalking, sitting, standing, bending, and must be able to walk up and down stairsUsing hands to operate objects, tools, computers and other electronic equipmentLifting/handling computers and related equipment (typically not more than 25 pounds)Vision abilities including close vision and adjusting focusModerate noise levelSpecial Demands:Must be able to work occasional overtime when requiredNucor is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace
