Group LeadA Group Lead is a motivated team player with exceptional organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a goal-oriented, multitasking environment with attention to detail. They should have a basic understanding of Warehouse Operations and demonstrate problem-solving abilities. A successful Group Lead is flexible to accept new and diverse assignments. They possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Shift: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pmRole ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership for all associates.Maintain SLAs for the designated area.Act as a subject matter expert in the designated area.Support the development of employees in the designated area.Promote, develop, and sustain an efficient workflow within the department. Ensure the area is adequately supplied to complete daily tasks.Create a positive work environment and develop ownership in the department with a high level of diplomacy, professionalism, and integrity.Oversee the quality of production activities.Audit department processes to ensure all team members are adhering to processes and SOPs.Interact with management and cross-functional employees to resolve issues affecting operations.Role QualificationsMust be 18 years or olderHigh school degree or GED required1 to 2 years of equivalent job experience; team building and leadership skillsWorks well under pressure and time constraints, dependable and with a sense of urgencyExcellent organizational and efficiency skillsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusionsAble to work with minimal supervisionComprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standardsMaintain acceptable attendance?and must be able to work overtime as requiredPhysical Requirements:Stand and walk throughout a shiftClimb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periodsReach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 poundsOperate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movementsThe PerksURBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
