Certified Medical Assistant

Immediate contract opportunity at our Corporate Health Center at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, IL.

Pay Rate: $24.00/hr

Work Schedule:

• 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)
• 40 hours per week

Contract Details:

• Contract assignment through 9/30/2026 (possible extension)
• Temp to perm opportunity

Job Details:

• MA to work front and back office, DOT/Non DOT Urine Drug testing and breath alcohol testing.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts
• Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination
• Inventories medical supplies and materials, notification to team when supplies run low
• Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests
• Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Epic experience preferred
• Occupational Health, Emergency Room or Urgent Care experience preferred
• Current hands on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
