We're looking for an energetic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at 1810 Court St. in Pekin, United States. • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and executing strategic business goals with precision and accountability
• Lead, train, mentor, and motivate team members to maintain high performance standards and foster professional development
• Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues with empathy, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Manage inventory operations, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and analyzing merchandise data to optimize stock levels
• Create and adjust employee schedules strategically to optimize staffing levels while considering team member availability and business needs
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain meticulous financial records with attention to detail
• Implement, enforce, and communicate company policies and procedures consistently across all team members
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming work environment that complies with health and safety regulations
• Participate actively in marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase customer engagement
• Analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for operational and sales improvements
• Support conflict resolution and address performance issues with transparency and fairness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail or food service management, preferably in an Assistant Manager or supervisory capacity
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to motivate, develop, and inspire team members
• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine customer-focused mindset and commitment to satisfaction
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and employee scheduling software
• Experience with cash handling, Point of Sale (POS) systems, and financial record-keeping
• Solid understanding of retail or food service operations and local health and safety regulations
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly across all levels
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics
• Experience in budget management and financial acumen
• Demonstrated conflict resolution and team coaching capabilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or related field (preferred)
• Proficiency with retail management software and digital tools (preferred)
