Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) registered nurse position is located in a comprehensive regional cardiac center. The role involves providing specialized care during complex cardiac and peripheral procedures, including Left Heart Catheterizations, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid stenting, and pacemaker insertions. The nurse will work an 8-hour day shift with rotating call coverage during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, supporting the operational needs of the Cath Lab team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour day shift; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of Cath Lab experience; recent traveler experience (preferred); Oklahoma State License or compact license; BLS certification through AHA; ACLS certification through AHA; NIH certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with monitoring devices such as the Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices, and LEXISCAN Stress Test; proficiency in pre and post-procedure patient care, patient transport, and assisting with various duties in the Cath Lab.
• Additional Information: Candidates will rotate between various responsibilities including patient monitoring, assisting with procedures, and logistical support. The role requires proficient knowledge of vascular and cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, including experience with complex device systems.
