Job Summary
Seeking a Coos Robotic Engineer to support and optimize automated robotic welding operations in a live manufacturing environment. The role requires hands-on expertise in Coos robot programming, robotic welding, automation integration, troubleshooting, and process development. The engineer will support equipment validation, preventive maintenance, process improvements, corrective actions, and new product development while improving quality, cycle time, and equipment uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, integrate, troubleshoot, and maintain Coos robotic welding systems.
- Develop and optimize robot welding processes, parameters, and procedures.
- Support validation and qualification of robotic welding equipment and automated processes.
- Troubleshoot robotic and automated equipment to reduce downtime, defects, and cycle time.
- Develop equipment controls requirements, specifications, technical documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
- Support CAPA and corrective-action initiatives and implement permanent solutions.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities for robotic equipment and tooling.
- Collaborate with design and controls engineers on automation solutions.
- Support automation requirements for new product development.
- Maintain operational documentation, training materials, drawings, models, and equipment manuals.
- Communicate effectively with manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and cross-functional teams.
