• Experience in travel required
• Every other weekend availability
• EPIC experience highly preferred

Description:

Local variations may apply. This position may primarily work in the Emergency Department. Candidates must possess a valid state license as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician. Travel experience is required. EPIC experience is highly preferred. Candidates should have knowledge of aseptic techniques and blood specimen collection procedures. Experience with patient interactions across various age groups is necessary. Proper disposal and labeling techniques for specimens are essential. Candidates must understand the mode of action of additives in blood collection tubes. Quality assurance and controls knowledge is important for this role. Working knowledge of hospital and laboratory requisitions is required. Candidates should be familiar with standard precautions and safe practices in blood collection. Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work weekends are necessary.
