Phlebotomist

$17.75 - $26 per hour

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Baltimore, Maryland laboratory to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The position operates Monday through Friday with Saturday flexibility, requiring phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain specimen information logs
Enter patient data accurately and process billing information and payments
Deliver customer service and complete administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
Minimum three months phlebotomy experience or certification alternative
Pass standardized color blindness test
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to additional sites

Compensation: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour
