Tax Preparer

We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join a growing firm for the upcoming tax season. This is a Contract position suited for someone who can manage both business and individual filings with accuracy and efficiency. The role offers the opportunity to support clients through a high-volume period while delivering responsive, compliant tax preparation services.Responsibilities:• Prepare and examine federal and state tax returns for both individual taxpayers and business entities.• Complete filings across common return types, including 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S, while maintaining accuracy throughout the process.• Verify tax data, review supporting records, and help ensure all submissions meet applicable compliance standards and deadlines.• Communicate with clients to collect required financial documents and clarify missing or incomplete information.• Respond to routine tax-related questions and provide seasonal support to clients and internal team members.• Manage multiple assignments during peak filing periods while maintaining organized workpapers and documentation.
