Job Description As a Senior HSE Engineer here at Honeywell, you will serve as a functional HSE expert, providing Environmental & Safety leadership and technical support to the Honeywell LNG Palmetto, FL Site. In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs that ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Your ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders will ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into business processes and decision‑making, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our business as a responsible and sustainable organization. Responsibilities Assist in administering the Honeywell Health, Safety, & Environmental Management System. Management and continual improvement of Environmental programs including hazardous waste, air emissions, and storm water compliance. Provide technical assistance regarding health, safety, environmental compliance requirements. Integrate HSE processes and safe work practices into daily operations. Drive Excellence and engagement in HSE through management, leadership and employee involvement, worksite risk assessments, hazard prevention and control, and HSE training. Develop and implement environmental and safety programs to maintain compliance with all HSE regulatory and company requirements. Deploy and manage environmental and safety initiatives to continually improve performance of Environmental programs and processes. Oversight of HSE actions in support of capital projects. Measure key HSE indicators and implement plans to address gaps. Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

5+ years of progressive safety, health, and environmental experience within manufacturing, research and development, and/or field related businesses. In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices. Proficiency in HSE Management Systems. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and strategic planning abilities. Strong people skills, time management and personnel training programs. Experience undertaking audits and inspections. Proficient in general computer software use - Word, Excel, PowerPoint. We Value Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, engineering, environmental science, or a related field highly preferred. Professional certifications such as Certified Environmental Professional (CEP), Registered Environmental Manager (REM), or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), ASP (Associate Safety Professional) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification. Passion for promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. Strong business acumen and ability to align HSE engineering with organizational goals. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment. Ability to inspire and motivate a team.
