Labor and Delivery RN ($81/hr or $2,916/week)

Job Summary (in list format):


- Collaborates with the healthcare team using evidence-based practice to ensure safe and optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrates accountability and respect for patients, families, and coworkers.
- Promotes continuity of care through effective communication with the interdisciplinary team and families as appropriate.
- Directs support staff in the provision of patient care.
- Performs general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision.
- Provides care to age-specific populations according to the setting.
- Requires graduation from an accredited RN program (BSN preferred).
- Must have current RN licensure in the State of Iowa and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
- Must hold current AHA Heart Code BLS certification (or obtain within three months of hire).
- Must have (or obtain per policy) ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
- Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Requires strong empathetic listening skills, tact, and kindness.
- Must be able to communicate well verbally and work effectively as a team member.
- Requires basic computer knowledge.
- Must demonstrate technical and critical thinking skills for sound nursing judgment.
