Remote Customer Service Representative

About the Position

Nugent Supply Co. is seeking a dependable, friendly, and professional Remote Customer Service Representative to support our customers and internal team.

The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, communicates clearly, pays close attention to detail, and can work independently in a remote environment. This position will assist customers with questions, orders, account information, delivery updates, and general service needs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions by phone, email, and other company-approved communication channels.
• Provide professional and helpful customer service.
• Assist customers with product, order, invoice, and delivery-related questions.
• Enter and update customer and order information accurately.
• Follow up on customer requests and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
• Communicate with warehouse, delivery, accounting, and management teams when needed.
• Provide customers with accurate information regarding order status and delivery schedules.
• Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records.
• Identify customer concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Process routine customer-service requests according to company procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Complete administrative and data-entry tasks related to customer service.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
• Perform other customer-service and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, office, administrative, or related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and friendly telephone manner.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and business software.
• Ability to learn new computer systems and company procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple customer requests while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and reliable communication.

Salary/Compensation: $35.00 - $44.00 per hour
