At Trademark Car Wash, our Assistant Managers serve as frontline leaders responsible for supporting daily operations, guiding team members, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role is a key leadership position responsible for maintaining operational standards, reinforcing company expectations, and supporting site performance during assigned shifts.

Assistant Managers serve as the acting leader of the location when the Site Manager is not present and are responsible for ensuring operational excellence, safety, and team performance during their shifts.

This position is paid weekly and may be eligible for performance-based incentives and commissions.

This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including opening and closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

• Support the Site Manager in leading, coaching, and developing site-level team members.
• Provide ongoing feedback and reinforce performance expectations.
• Assist with onboarding and training new employees.
• Hold team members accountable for company policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Foster a positive, productive, and customer-focused work environment.

Customer Experience & Service Execution

• Deliver and promote exceptional customer service throughout every shift.
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
• Ensure customers receive a consistent, high-quality experience.
• Support membership sales, service upgrades, and promotional initiatives.

Site Operations & Workflow Management

• Oversee daily site operations in the absence of the Site Manager.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and ensure operational readiness.
• Monitor site cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance.
• Lead daily workflow and assign responsibilities to team members as needed.
• Ensure efficient operation of all wash equipment and systems.

Equipment Maintenance & Safety

• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Coordinate repairs and report equipment concerns as necessary.
• Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Promote a safe work environment through training, accountability, and leadership.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals and cleaning products.

Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

• Support achievement of site sales, membership, and profitability goals.
• Assist with cash handling, deposits, and operational reporting.
• Monitor inventory levels and support ordering processes.
• Utilize company systems and tools to support daily operations and performance tracking.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including opening shifts, closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory, retail, hospitality, or service-industry leadership experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn company systems.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation and maintenance.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, and perform repetitive motions on a regular basis.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and direct sunlight.
• Ability to work around water, cleaning products, and moving vehicles in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
