Medical Billing Specialist

Billing Specialist Pay: $18.50–$21.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday 10:30 AM–7:00 PM 8-hour shifts One Saturday per month Full-time Our client is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their long-term care pharmacy team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused, and adaptable professional who is eager to learn and committed to providing excellent service to our clients and patients. Responsibilities: Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage Process updates to resident profiles accurately Admit new residents to the appropriate nursing facilities Research and resolve client billing issues Maintain accurate billing information Provide exceptional customer service to clients Work collaboratively with the team to ensure accurate and timely billing Qualifications: High school diploma/GED required College degree preferred Previous medical billing experience required Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Excellent customer service and phone skills Strong attention to detail Advanced data entry skills Strong organizational skills Adaptable and willing to learn Dependable and punctual About the Company: Our client is a long-term care pharmacy focused on providing excellent customer service and making patients feel cared for and welcomed.
