We are looking for a Principal Engineer to join the team that is building our latest cloud security product - SaaS Inline Security. This fast-growing cloud service provides visibility and real time security for SaaS applications such as Box, Dropbox, GitHub, Google Apps, Slack, Salesforce and many more. SaaS Inline Security products provide visibility into all SaaS Application usage in customer environments and subsequently enable them to secure their data flowing between all sanctioned / unsanctioned SaaS app instances. This role will also give you an unrivaled opportunity to build enterprise class cloud security solutions which help provide visibility and security in a continuously growing SaaS Applications world.Your ImpactExecute on the software development strategy to improve our dynamic highly distributed systemUnderstand and implement software development/engineering lifecycle concepts to drive features from conception to deliveryCollaborate closely with the product management, dev-ops, and QA teams to achieve quality releasesWork hand-in-hand with customer support, documentation and downstream teams to enable customer successMake appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-release while maintaining performance and scalability requirementsBe able to clearly communicate goals and desired outcomes to internal project teamsSkills:Be a self-starter, able to learn independently and adapt quicklyAdvanced-level of experience as hands-on Java Software Engineer in a distributed /cloud-based productExpertise in Python ScriptingKnowledge with encryption libraries and experience with FIPS enabled OSs and FIPS LibrariesUnderstanding of FedRAMP, SOC2, NIST < CSA or other security compliance frameworksCloud Experience (AWS, Google Cloud). Experience with Kubernetes, DockerDevOps Engineering environment with owning testsCI/CD pipeline experience is a must haveProficiency with rest framework such as Spring, Kafka, ReactiveKnowledge in OS libraries, ability to resolve build and installation dependencies
