Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams Perform conduit bending, wiring, and panel installations per NEC code standards Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and equipment malfunctions Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other MEP trades on job sites Ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations Inspect and test electrical systems using meters, testers, and other diagnostic tools Requirements: Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License required Minimum 4 years of hands‑on electrical experience in the field Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local Houston/Texas electrical regulations Proficiency in commercial and/or industrial electrical installations Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred Reliable, self‑motivated, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills About Us: MEP Experts LLC is a trusted mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractor serving the Houston, TX area with a commitment to quality craftsmanship and professional excellence.
