Forensic Pathologist

Faculty PhysicianThe Faculty Physician provides quality medical care to patients in a clinical setting. The Faculty Physician also assists management in developing policies and procedures relating to patient needs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide quality treatment to all patients in a professional mannerParticipate in the teaching/training program(s)Communicate with administrators, and Physicians to facilitate practice operationsParticipate in team effort to guarantee efficient services to patientsConforms to the ethical code of conduct of his/her professional organization, to the Wayne Health Corporate Compliance Program and all standards of the Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, and to clinic policies and proceduresMaintains a current professional license, professional liability insurance at limits required by Wayne Health Credentialing as applicableAttend meetings and training as requested including participation in mandatory annual Wayne Health training in such areas as: recipient rights, confidentiality, corporate compliance, prevention of violence and management of unsafe behaviors, and cultural competenceParticipates in professional development activities and keeps current with healthcare trends and practicesObeys confidentiality as required by all federal, state, regulatory and Wayne Health policiesPerform related duties as assignedEducation, Licensure/Certification, and Training:Licensed M.D. or D.O. Board eligibleSkills and Abilities:High level of interpersonal skills, written and verbal, necessary to effectively communicate, establish, and maintain productive working relationships with people inside and outside the Department and/or PracticeExcellent analytical ability necessary to independently identify and resolve extremely complex and unusual problems or discrepanciesClinical knowledge to meet the medical requirements relating to various proceduresAbility to maintain confidentiality regarding patients, personnel and/or financial dataExcellent organizational skills to work independently, prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and manage timePatient management skills necessary to provide quality careSafety Requirements:Compliance with Department Health and Safety policies and proceduresWorking Conditions/Schedule:Hours and days to be determined by the business need of the department.
