Schedule

Night shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

This position involves providing critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team for optimized patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for critically ill patients across multiple ICU divisions.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as IABP, CRRT, and ICP monitoring.
• Perform assessments, interventions, and follow-up care.
• Document all patient care and progress in the EMR system (EPIC).
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU.
• 2 years of travel experience required; 4-5 years of ICU experience preferred.
• Current RN license in New York with active status and verification through NURSYS.
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex is highly preferred.
