Construction Accountant

Atrium is currently recruiting for a growing client in the construction space! We are looking for someone with strong experience and a deep understanding of construction project accounting. Qualified candidates should have experience using construction industry based accounting technology, and well-versed in accounting through the lifecycle of different projects and project phases. Responsibilities Maintain the general ledger , journal entries, and account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting and analysis Revenue recognition accounting following construction project guidelines Assist with budget preparation , cost tracking, and job cost reporting Prepare and manage AIA billing and project-related invoicing in compliance with contract requirements Coordinate with management and project teams to ensure accurate financial documentation and compliance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Must have a deep understanding of construction project lifecycles As a woman-owned firm, we value diversity.
