Tool & Die Maker Job Details
Schedule : Full-time (Shift to be discussed during interview)
Pay Rate: $30.00-$40.00/hour
Location : Franklin, OH
Tool & Die Maker Requirements/Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker or equivalent apprenticeship
  
• Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
  
• Experience with manual machining operations
  
• Knowledge of metal properties and heat treating processes
  
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  
• Journeyman Tool & Die certification preferred
  
• Experience with progressive die stamping preferred
  
• Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop environment and perform physical job duties
  

About the Tool & Die Maker Role
As a Tool & Die Maker, your responsibilities will include:

• Build, troubleshoot, and repair precision tools, dies, and fixtures
  
• Interpret blueprints and detailed specifications
  
• Set up and operate manual machining equipment including mills, lathes, surface grinders, and drill presses
  
• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments to tooling
  
• Diagnose tooling issues and complete repairs to minimize downtime
  
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve tooling and manufacturing processes
  
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
