Every company is deploying agents, spinning up service accounts, and realizing their IAM stack can't keep up. We're building AI-native security that scales with this chaos and companies like Databricks, Cloudflare, and Figma are betting on us to get it right.You will own Opal's product direction and execution as our sole product manager. You'll work directly with security and engineering teams at Fortune 500s and startups alike, understand their messy reality, and determine our position as a leader in IAM. You'll report directly into our CPO and work hand in hand with our engineering team.Please note: We've built a team that works exceptionally well together and has fun doing so. We're looking to bring on new teammates who will both add to and grow with what we're buildingYour Responsibilities:Own product strategy from insight to execution. Own what we build and where we expand, work directly with customers to validate direction, partner with engineering on technical strategy, and ensure our roadmap positions us to win in IAM.Architect our platform to unify human and non-human identity governance across hybrid environments by making sense of on-prem AD, cloud IAM, SaaS apps, and AI agents.Lead our evolution from fast and flexible to enterprise-grade at scale without losing what developers love about us.Drive category creation and position Opal as the authorization intelligence layer, not just another point solution in a crowded IAM landscape.Define the future for Opal and for IdentityOur Ideal Candidate Loves to:Think strategically: you can look at market dynamics, customer feedback, and technical constraints to determine the right direction forward.Build platforms, not just features: you understand API strategy, developer experience, and how to create extensible systems that others build on.Thrive in undefined spaces: you get energized by ambiguous problems where there's no playbook.
