Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU

Schedule

36 hours per week; Day/Night rotation with every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Contract duration and guaranteed hours per week will be discussed during the interview.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• Previous travel RN experience required.
• Valid state or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Certifications: BCLS (BLS), ACLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only).
• Experience in Neurologic/neurocritical care preferred.
• Charting experience with Epic required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor and manage patients with a variety of neurologic conditions including strokes and traumatic brain injuries.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize complex medical equipment and procedures, including invasive monitoring and ventilator management.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record.
