Job Title Tax Accountant - 2+ Yrs Paid Tax Experience Required Overview Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated TurboTax Live Seasonal Local Service Experts across the United States on a seasonal basis. This opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. About The Role In this role you will work on-site from a TurboTax location, serving customers both in-person and virtually using Intuit TurboTax products. You will provide full‑service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software support, helping clients ranging from simple W2 filings to complex business income, amendments, or investments. You will also grow TurboTax’s local client base, establish long‑term relationships, and drive customer loyalty. This is a non‑exempt, seasonal, on‑site position requiring a minimum of 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location. What You’ll Do Provide hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations and maximizing refund opportunities. Act as a proactive community ambassador, cultivating a robust customer base, nurturing leads, and converting prospects into long‑term clients while organizing local engagement events. Represent TurboTax confidently in the local community, hosting learning events and participating in marketing efforts to demystify taxes. Build relationships, demonstrate empathy, and create long‑term trust that turns a one‑time transaction into a multi‑year relationship. Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience, interacting with customers both in‑person and through video communication tools and addressing client inquiries. Who You Are Possess active, unrestricted credentials: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience. Hold an active PTIN as required by law. Have at least 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software. Familiar with Circular 230. Be willing and available to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location. Show interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content in accordance with Intuit policies. English/Spanish bilingual communication skills are a plus. Have experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
