BILLING SPECIALIST/ PROJECT ACCOUNTANT/ APM


We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist/ Project Accountant/ APM to support our client's Project Management Team throughout the construction project lifecycle. This role plays an important part in coordinating project documentation, project tracing, supporting billing processes, and assisting with project closeout. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. They also will need experience working with and supporting the Project Management team, VP o Project Management and Contracts Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Handling Project Billing beginning to end
  
  
• Support Project Managers from project start through closeout
  
  
• Coordinate construction administration tasks (submittals, RFIs, logs, reports)
  
  
• Maintain organized digital project files and documentation
  
  
• Process and track change orders
  
  
• Assist with subcontractor bid coordination
  
  
• Support project closeout documentation and packages
  
  
• Track warranty requests and maintain logs
  
  
• Assist with monthly billings, lien waivers, and invoices
  
  
• Support billing and collection efforts through internal coordination and client communication
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience
  
  
• Experience in billing, preferably in commercial construction, beginning to end
  
  
• Experience/ Knowledge of Conditional and Unconditional Waivers/ Labor
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Sage (preferably Sage 300)
  
  
• Familiarity with platforms such as Textura, or similar systems
