SUMMARY The General Superintendent, Logistics will manage the various project team members as it relates to their craft. Establish standards, training, leadership training for the construction team and department. This position reports to the Field Operations Manager , or another management personnel that the President may designate. This position is in the USA Corp (IOWA) office. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. Overtime and weekend hours as required. This position is expected to travel up to 75% of the time. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee and coordinate the logistics superintendents and their craft across multiple pro-jects , ensuring effective coordination and execution of logistics plans. Develop and implement processes and procedures to facilitate logistics coordination and material tracking across multiple projects, including tooling. Provide coaching and development for logistics superintendents, enhancing their skills and capabilities. Implement training programs for team members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Assist in developing detailed schedules for all logistic and offload activities Coordinate activities, schedule, material procurement, project logistics, and temporary fa- cility plans with the project manager and field staff Review and approve materials/equipment for logistic activities monitoring startup and progress of those activities, resolving any conflicts prior to starting work Prepare reports and communicate progress to Project Managers/Directors as needed Review contract documents and make improvement suggestions as needed Collaborate with team members when necessary to ensure effective communication and results Provide cost estimation Identify and project costs related to time, materials, equipment, and labor Track actual costs and assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services Prepare reports regarding the current status of a project to show estimated costs, reve-nues , and project timeline Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by the Field Operations Manager Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years experience in logistics operations Proven track record as a Superintendent on large projects Experience dealing with subcontracts and subcontractors Minimum of 2 years of solar PV experience Industrial relations knowledge for recognizing and resolving potential labor issues Knowledge of company construction guides and manuals Construction safety awareness and comprehension Conflict management skills Multi-tasking ability (prioritize, organize, schedule work) Problem-solving skills (identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve) Communication skills Constructability Knowledge within discipline Conceptual planning ability Risk assessment/Management Cost Code Labor Productivity Systems Time reporting policies and procedures Construction guides and Standards Computer skills Extensive work experience in management and completion of large scale projects Appropriate leadership experience Knowledge in Microsoft office tools Fluent in written and spoken English; other language skills are a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
