Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Float Pool – Georgia

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Float Pool assignment rotating to all PCU/IMCU units with cardiac patient populations. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3–4. May also be assigned to telemetry beds with lower acuity levels within the same units. Minimal requested time off during assignment.

Highlights:

• Float to all Progressive Care and Intermediate Care units with primary cardiac population
• Diverse case mix including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery patients, and chest pain protocols
• Manage cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressor medications
• EPIC electronic medical record system in use
• Opportunity to expand clinical skills across multiple units and patient acuities
• Telemetry monitoring experience with varying acuity levels

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years progressive care or similar acute care experience in a comparable-sized facility
• Strong cardiac nursing background with experience managing cardiac drips and post-cardiac surgery patients
• Badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
