Strategy Program Director - CBD Strategy Growth & Operations

In this role, you will connect strategy to execution so community-focused initiatives launch smoothly and responsibly. You will partner across Legal, Risk, Controls, and Compliance to set clear ways of working that protect our customers, our communities, and our firm. You will influence across teams and levels, turning complex requirements into practical solutions that scale.

As a Head of Change Management in the Community and Business Development team, you will define and operationalize policies, procedures, and change practices that help us serve the communities where we operate while maintaining a strong risk and controls environment. You will work closely with partners across Legal, Risk, Controls, and Compliance to coordinate initiatives from design through implementation. You will bring people together across teams, clarify priorities, and keep communication crisp so we deliver measurable outcomes. You will help us build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer obsession as we grow responsible community impact.

Job responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-visibility initiatives with meaningful financial and reputational risk considerations
• Define and implement policies, procedures, and governance to support effective execution
• Partner with Legal, Risk, Controls, and Compliance to align requirements and manage approvals
• Guide cross-functional workstreams to deliver solutions with strong controls and clear communications
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across teams and leadership levels
• Prepare and deliver executive-level updates and presentations across multiple channels
• Analyze issues and constraints, then translate them into actionable solutions and decisions
• Simplify complex topics into scalable processes, playbooks, and operating routines
• Coordinate change readiness activities, including communications, training, and adoption support
• Track progress, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues and removing roadblocks as needed
• Travel occasionally to support business needs and stakeholder engagement

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 10 years of program or project management experience, or related experience, with strong analytical capability
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence stakeholders without direct authority
• Experience creating policies, procedures, or operating models in a highly regulated environment
• Strong risk and controls mindset, with experience embedding controls into processes and delivery plans
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including one-to-one and group facilitation
• Experience preparing and delivering executive-level presentations that support timely decision-making
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, complex, cross-functional environment
• Strong attention to detail with consistent follow-through on commitments, actions, and timelines
• Ability to execute against strategic priorities while managing multiple workstreams and dependencies
• Willingness to travel occasionally

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience leading enterprise change management for large, cross-functional initiatives
• Experience partnering closely with compliance, legal, and risk management teams on delivery execution
• Experience supporting community-focused programs or financial health initiatives
• Familiarity with consumer banking products, services, or operating models
• Experience designing communications and training strategies to support adoption and sustained use
