Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Center in Newark, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a financial institution, you will coordinate responses to alarms and security-related incidents, monitor systems, communicate with personnel and emergency services, and support timely incident documentation. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Monitor alarm systems, cameras, access-control notifications, and incoming communications; dispatch appropriate personnel and coordinate responses to security-related incidents. Receive, document, prioritize, and relay routine and emergency calls for service in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports in accordance with site-specific procedures. Communicate with on-site personnel, management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed during incidents and critical situations. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
