The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of clinical experience in an infusion center and outpatient oncology settings, along with a strong understanding of various cancer treatments and patient care requirements. Position Details\n \n Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts. Available hours include: \n \n 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM \n 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM \n 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM \n \n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered. \n Current BLS and ONS/ONCC certifications required. \n ACLS and OCN certifications preferred. \n Previous experience in infusion center and outpatient oncology is mandatory. \n Charge RN experience is preferred. \n Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records is essential. \n Patient Care Focus\n The registered nurse will be responsible for delivering care to patients with various diagnoses, including: \n \n Solid Tumor Cancers \n Lymphomas \n Chronic Leukemia \n Iron Deficiency \n Myelodysplastic Syndrome \n Neuro-oncology \n Special Procedures and Equipment\n The RN will assist in specialized procedures such as: \n \n Bone Marrow Aspirations \n Intravesicular Chemotherapy for Bladder Cancer \n Intrathecal Chemotherapy \n \n Additional equipment utilized in this position includes: \n \n Cyracom Interpreter Machine \n Blood Warmer \n Hoyer Lift \n Vein Finder \n Ultrasound Guided IV Machine \n \n If you meet the qualifications and are passionate about providing quality patient care in an oncology setting, we encourage you to apply! \n \n Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID 38075205.
