Clinical Nurse Pre-op/post-op Outpatient Surgery Center

Role Overview Clinical Nurse Pre‑op/Post‑op at the Outpatient Surgery Center – Sunset Hills. The position opens Nov/Dec 2026 and involves working pre and post for 5 operating rooms and 4 GI procedure rooms. The nurse will provide direct patient care, education, and support in a surgical setting. Responsibilities Promote patient‑ and family‑centered care in a healing environment. Educate patients and families on post‑treatment care, medication administration, and home care needs. Assist in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the inter‑professional team. Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. Maintain alertness and adhere to safety protocols necessary for this safety‑sensitive position. Schedule & Work Hours Clinic hours 7:30 A – 5:00 P. 4/10‑hour shifts Monday–Friday, staggered start times beginning at 5:30 A. Finish the day at 6:30 P. No call, holidays, or weekends. Minimum Requirements Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree. Experience: None required. Supervisor Experience: None required. Licenses & Certifications: RN. Preferred Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Pre‑/post‑op experience preferred.
