Details General medical/surgical floor caring for post-op patients requiring overnight stays 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM 36 hours per week with every other weekend required No on-call requirements Floating required within the same discipline across local campuses Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active RN license, Iowa or compact license required Current BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required At least 1 completed travel contract required Epic experience preferred Valid driver's license required for consideration Work history/resume and completed skills checklist (within 1 year) required for consideration License verification and copies of certifications required for consideration One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required for consideration Additional Information Provide professional/clinical care to post-op patients as part of an interdisciplinary team Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility Not eligible if employed by the facility's health system within the last 12 months Holiday coverage required, including 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving) Limited time-off requests permitted during late November and the winter holiday period First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-750642.
