Lead Azure Data Engineer
6+ month Contract with ext
4 days onsite at WTC ( Lower Manhattan, New York City)
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, ETL development, and SQL Server administration
- Strong proficiency in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and T-SQL development
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory for pipeline orchestration and data movement
- Familiarity with Azure Databricks for large-scale data transformation
- Experience with Azure DevOps for version control, pipeline management, and automated deployments
- Working knowledge of Azure Logic Apps for business process automation and system integration
- Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server (latest versions) – schema design, query optimization, and maintenance
- Familiarity with enterprise reporting platforms such as Cognos TM1 and IBM Cognos BI is a strong asset
