Licensed Practical Nurse

Responsibilities Assist physicians and RNs in the care of patients. Administer chemotherapy agents. Prepare chemotherapy agents. Perform patient assessments and triage. Document medical records. Provide patient and family education. Qualifications Active Florida LPN license required. Experience in IV therapy in a clinic or hospital – preferred. Prior oncology experience – preferred. Complete a 30‑hour IV certification course within 90 days of employment. Current CPR certification required. BLS certification required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide a BLS course within the first 30 days). Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills. Valid driver’s license in the resident state for travel to clinics. Screenings and Certifications All new hires must pass background, drug, and nicotine screening. Clear results from a thorough background check are required. All employees must receive vaccinations, including influenza, except for approved exemptions. The workplace is drug‑free; all hires will undergo drug and nicotine testing. Medical marijuana cards are not recognized.
