Collection Specialist

Collection SpecialistPosition Type: Full-time, Hourly Location: In Office; Auburn WA Wage Scale: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour Benefits: Full-time Regular Employees (and their families) can enroll in medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Employees will also accrue 80 hours of vacation per year for the first 9 years and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.Responsibilities:Communicate with customers regarding past-due accountsCommunicating discrepancies with managementIdentify slow paying customersNotify debtors of outstanding account balances via phone, email and/or mail to settle accounts.Prepare and analyze collection reports and processesCompletes a high volume of transaction entries on an ongoing basis throughout the monthMaintain account records by: Ensure aging is up to date Credits and collections are applied Uncollectible amounts are accounted for Miscellaneous differences are clearedAdheres to strict deadlines to complete billingSupport other accounting and finance team membersRequirements:High school diploma, GED or equivalentPrevious AP and/or AR experiencePrevious Collection experienceUnderstanding basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeepingStrong attention detail and the ability to meet deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Regular attendance is requiredWhy get your Career started with Fireside?
