This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys a steady routine, and can work independently with minimal oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesPost daily transactions (expenses, deposits) accurately and in a timely mannerPerform monthly bank reconciliations across all company accountsPerform monthly credit card reconciliations, matching receipts to statementsMaintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are properly coded/categorizedSupport month-end close: journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and close checklist itemsPrepare and maintain accurate financial recordsAssist with preparing basic financial reports (P&L, balance sheet) for management reviewFlag discrepancies or unusual transactions for reviewSupport management with documentation during tax season or auditsEnsure compliance with company policies and standard bookkeeping practices
