Behavior Aides Needed

Spindle is hiring compassionate Behavior Aides to support students with behavioral needs in school settings, often in 1:1 or small-group roles. If you have experience working with children with behaviors and want flexible work that makes a difference, this is a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral support
• Support students through daily classroom routines, transitions, and activities
• Use positive intervention, redirection, and de-escalation strategies
• Assist with crisis intervention when needed
• Support students who may experience elopement or physical aggression
• Follow behavior support plans and school safety protocols
• Assist with toileting and other personal care needs as required

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Previous experience working with children with behavioral needs
• Comfortable supporting students who may display physical aggression or attempt to elope
• Comfortable with crisis intervention and de-escalation
• Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care
• Willingness to complete required school clearances
