Body Shop EstimatorWe are looking for a meticulous Body Shop Estimator to join the dynamic team at Mocks Body and Paint. In this in-person role, you will utilize your expertise in collision repair estimating to assess damage, prepare accurate estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to industry standards and best practices.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine repair needs, utilizing advanced estimating software and toolsPrepare detailed and accurate repair estimates, including parts, labor, and paint costs, while ensuring compliance with insurance guidelinesCollaborate closely with technicians and management to streamline repair processes and enhance operational efficiencyCommunicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of repairs, estimates, and timelinesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, repair techniques, and insurance protocols to ensure accurate and effective estimatesWork on-site with insurance adjusters and clients to resolve discrepancies and negotiate repair costs as necessaryRequired and Preferred Qualifications:Required:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Body Shop Estimator or in a similar role within the automotive repair industryProficient in using estimating software, such as CCC One or Mitchell, with a strong understanding of repair methodologiesExcellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindsetPreferred:Icar certification or equivalent industry-recognized qualificationExperience in a dealership environment or high-volume body shopKnowledge of insurance processes and the ability to work with different insurance carriersTechnical Skills and Relevant Technologies:Proficient in collision repair estimating software and related technologiesStrong understanding of automotive repair processes, including structural and non-structural repairsFamiliarity with OEM specifications and guidelines for repairsSoft Skills and Cultural Fit:Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in estimates and repairsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing customer concernsCommitment to maintaining high ethical standards and delivering quality serviceBenefits and Perks:Health, dental, and vision insurance available401(k) retirement plan with company matchingPaid time off and holiday payEmployee discounts on services and products (includes vehicle purchases)Location:This role requires successful candidates to be based in-person at our facility in Grants Pass, Or
